Where you live
1. Which town or city do you live in?
2. What do you dislike about the place youlive?
3. Are you going to move in the nearfuture?
1. I live in Shanghai with my parents. We moved to this lovely city three years ago. I enjoy living in
Shanghai and I have made some new friendshere.
2. Shanghai is an international city with approximately 2400 million population. The city could
become very crowded especially on weekends and holidays. I feel annoyed when the city is
crowded with people.
3. I plan to move to Qingdao where is a coastal city in the east of China. I have been to Qingdao last

year. The beautiful weather and delicious seafood attract  my interests.

Tiredness
1. What things make you tired?
2. What do you do when you feeltired?
3. Who do you prefer to talk to when you feel mentally tired, your friends or yourfamilies?
4. Do you want to talk to strangers when you feel mentallytired?

1. Unchanging daily routine is tiring

. I would be bored with doing the same things everyday

2. I would read some books or pursue my hobby

3. I would talk to my friends because we have more common language. They can

understand my feelings better.

4. I would prefer not. Sometimes when I feel mentally tired I am mentally weak as well. I
would probably say something that I normally would not say, which can either hurt others

or leak my personal information.

Rainy day
1. Do you like rainy day? Why or whynot?
2. How often does it rain in your city?

3.What do you do when it`s  rainy?

4. Will you bring rainy coat or umbrella when it's  rainy?
5. Will it affect your mood?
6. Do you think raining will affect people's behavior? Why or why not?
7. Does it rain much in your hometown (country)? When?
8. Can you remember any time when it rained particularly heavily in your hometown?

1. No, I don't. I think rainy days are troublesome because you have to always bring an umbrella with you. In addition, roads will be slippery so there will be more accidents and pedestrians may fall down if they walk at a high speed. In this case, I prefer sunny days when I can enjoy the sunshine.
2. It depends on where you live. In southern cities, it rains frequently. However, it is drierin the north of China.
3. I will stay at home. I have to say it is a great feeling to sleep with the sound of rain. You will feel relaxed and peaceful. I also like to read books and watch videos. If I have to go out, I will be very unhappy because rain may make my shoes wet and I hate such kind of  feeling

4. I will bring an umbrella with me. Wearing a raincoat is sweltering. However, I have to  admit that I do not have a good memory . I always lost umbrellas on buses, in school or in restaurants.
5. No, it will. Though I do not like rainy days, I will not have certain negative emotions just because it is raining outside. I think it is meaningless to feel sad or down as you can not do anything to change it, so why not learn to accept the reality

6. It depends. Some people will not be affected by the weather, while some people may feel sad or down on rainy days. In this case, their behaviors may be different from usual. For example, one may burst into tears because of a movie that he or she will not cry at all on sunny days.
7. Yes, it does. I was born and raised in Shanghai, and it rains frequently. Especially during the summer, the rain may last for 1 or 2 weeks. There are also lots of typhoons causing  heavy rain and fierce wind.

8. Yes, I can. Actually, in July, a strong typhoon hit Shanghai, and it rained cats and dogs. The weather was so terrible that it caused lots of accidents. The government asked us to  stay in and to ensure that all the windows are closed.

Borrowing/ lending
1. Have your borrowed books from others?
2. Have you ever borrowed money from others?
3. Do you like to lend things to others?

4. How do you feel when people don't return things they borrowed fromyou?

1. No, I haven't, as far as I can recalled. Personally, I'm not a borrower myself, I hate to feel like I own somebody something. I always want to have my own space and own stuff, though sounds a little bit self  centered and selfish. And also, I'm not that into reading, if that relates to books other than the text book.

2. Yes, maybe couple of times, but not much. There's once all my savings are in a fixed account and I can't withdraw money from it shortly. I need to book my ticket immediately,so, my friend lent me money and transferred it through wechat.
3. Not really, as I say, I'm not a borrower. On the other hand, I'm also not a lender. Since it's always a hard mission for me to remind others and also remember that someone owes me money or things. In my perspective, this will jeopardize the relationship or friendship if someone forget.
4. First, I really hate that. Because, in most of cases, when people borrow things, they always promise that they will return in a short time. But with time pass by, some of them just forget about what they've borrowed from me and continue with their life. I don't think it's good if a person can't keep their promise.
Trust
1. Who do you trust most?
2. Have you ever lost trust in someone?
3. What kind of people do youtrust?
4. Do you trust artificialintelligence?
1. I trust my parents most because they are the ones who will never hurt me and they love me much more than others. Also, their experiences in life and work make them able to provide sensible and suitable advice for me when I meet difficulties or when I have to  make choices. And my parents are quite open-minded, so they tend to listen to myideas and then give me suggestions. We get along with each other like friends. Therefore, my parents are the ones I trust most.
2. I think I haven't, because I'm a person who does not easily make promises to others. It will be very annoyed if one cannot keep his promise, and this is true to everyone. So if I'm not absolutely sure that I can certainly help others, I will not promise to do those things.I'm a reliable person among my friends.
3. I will trust those people who are reliable and practical. In other words, whenever they promise one thing to me, they will do those things quite well and the results will probably exceed my expectations.
4. Not totally. For some simple things, like providing tourist information, artificial intelligence is worth to be trusted. While for some complex ones, like giving suggestions for management decisions, I can hardly trust them.
